Why we built EasyAccessPDF
Every day, organizations publish millions of PDFs: reports, invoices, forms, research papers, meeting minutes, product manuals. For most readers, these documents look fine. But for people who rely on screen readers or keyboard navigation, a poorly structured PDF is a locked box.
For years, the only way to fix this was manual remediation. Specialists charged $5 to $60 per page, turnaround stretched for weeks, and the process was opaque. Accessibility became a line item that only large enterprises could afford.
We started EasyAccessPDF because that did not make sense. Accessibility is a right, not a luxury. And compliance should not require a six-figure budget.
What we do
EasyAccessPDF combines automated document parsing with ISO-standard validation to help teams create, check, and convert PDFs that work for everyone.
Automated tagging
Our engine reads structure from the source PDF and rebuilds the tag tree: headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, and reading order.
Compliance validation
We check documents against PDF/UA, WCAG 2.2, Section 508, ADA, and EN 301 549 requirements and tell you exactly what is wrong.
Format conversion
Convert PDFs into accessible Markdown, JSON, HTML, or plain text so the same content can reach more channels and more users.
How we work
1. Upload
Drag your PDF into the checker or converter. Files are processed on EU-based infrastructure.
2. Analyze
Our engine scans tags, reading order, alt text, tables, forms, links, and language settings.
3. Fix or convert
Download a tagged PDF, an annotated report, or a clean conversion in Markdown, HTML, JSON, or text.
4. Validate
Run the check again to confirm issues are resolved and your document meets the standard you need.

Editorial policy
Accuracy. All technical claims in EasyAccessPDF articles are verified against the authoritative sources they cite — W3C specifications, ISO standards (including ISO 14289-1), ADA.gov guidance, Section508.gov official documentation, EUR-Lex regulatory texts, and the veraPDF open-source validation project maintained by the Open Preservation Foundation and the PDF Association. We do not publish claims we cannot reference.
Review and currency. Every article carries a Last Reviewed date indicating when it was last checked against current standards and regulations. We re-review articles when underlying standards are updated (e.g., WCAG version changes, regulatory rulemakings such as ADA Title II IFR extensions, or new ISO editions). If you find an article that no longer reflects current guidance, contact us.
Independence. EasyAccessPDF creates, reviews, and publishes its own content. We do not accept payment for editorial placement, and our comparisons of tools and services (including our own) include honest assessments of where each tool is genuinely better suited. Product references outside our own services are for informational completeness.
