Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2026
Our Commitment
EasyAccessPDF is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. Accessibility is our product — and we hold our own website to the same standard we sell.
Conformance Status
This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and follows the requirements of EN 301 549 and the German BFSG (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz). Conformance is an ongoing effort; this statement reflects a self-assessment.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with logical heading hierarchy
- Keyboard-navigable interface, including visible focus indicators
- Descriptive alternative text for content images
- Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.2 AA (minimum 4.5:1 for text)
- Responsive design for all device sizes; no fixed pixel viewport
- Self-hosted fonts and assets — no third-party requests that could break assistive technology offline modes
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some issues may remain:
- PDF documents produced before remediation may themselves be inaccessible — that is the problem our service exists to fix.
- The Chrome extension inherits parts of the browser’s own user interface, over which we have limited control.
- Markdown conversion output is plain text by design; structural richness depends on the source document.
If you encounter a barrier not listed here, we want to know.
Feedback and Enforcement
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. Contact us at [email protected] — we aim to respond within 5 business days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the competent market surveillance authority under the BFSG (Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen).
Preparation of This Statement
