The output is an actual .drawio source file, so every element stays editable: drag boxes, rename labels, change styles, reconnect arrows, rearrange the layout. What exactly can you change?
Pretty much anything the AI put on the canvas:
- Drag boxes and shapes anywhere — nothing is frozen where the AI dropped it

In my experience
Here’s how the flow usually plays out for me: I describe what I want, the AI builds the skeleton, and then I spend a few minutes tidying up. The AI gets the logic right — the boxes, the connections, the order of steps — but the exact spacing and alignment are usually on me. That’s expected, not a bug. And honestly, it’s fast, because every element is real and clickable. Nudging a generated diagram into shape takes minutes; drawing one from an empty canvas takes an hour.
Honest limitations
To be fair, it’s not magic. The AI will occasionally name a box slightly differently than you meant, or arrange things in a way you wouldn’t choose. Labels follow the language of your description, so describe in English and you’ll get English labels — handy, but worth knowing before you start. And if you upload an image or PDF of an existing diagram and ask it to replicate that, the result can only be as tidy as the source you gave it. Busy diagrams with lots of nodes need more rearranging than small ones. None of this blocks you; it just means “AI generated” is a starting point, not a finish line.
